Sure Lock's pipe preparation is executed in conjunction with coating process.

• Bell: Involves the insertion of an auger into one end of the pipe via a hydraulically-actuated cylinder. The auger expands the end into a bell without affecting the mechanical or structural properties of the steel.

 

 

• Taper: Involves the movement of a swage over the opposite end of the pipe via a hydraulically-actuated cylinder. The swage compresses the end into a taper without affecting the mechanical or structural properties of the steel.
